The first one

I decide that I would start out with a little sweet and sappy poem that I wrote for my daughter inutero. I take no claim over it as the hormones that were raging through my body at the time wrote it for me....it is definitely one of the most cutesy things that I have ever written. Moms...it's a real tearjerker.

Unborn
There are so many things for me to tell you
To show you and help you do
I don't even know what you look like
Or how you smell
Yet already I love you with all of my heart
Every day I become more anxious for your arrival
To look into your eyes and pull you close to me
I want you to depend on me for everything you need
I worry that maybe I won't be enough
Or that I'll get things all mixed up
So bear with me when I don't get things right
And know that I do it all for you
For my daughter who I love
